Campus features

LIU Brooklyn is made up of a number of traditional and ultra modern buildings that are connected together by a series of enclosed bridges. Students enjoy access to the 112,000 square-foot Steinberg Wellness Center which features tennis courts, a running track, an eight-lane swimming pool, a therapy pool, two weight rooms, an aerobic room and a 17,000 square-foot basketball arena. Students also like to relax in the park-like setting surrounding the Kumble Theater and the Humanities Art Gallery located in the center of the campus. Other key facilities include a four-story library, various student lounges, the Cyber Cafe and the historic Luntey Commons, part of the former Brooklyn Paramount Theater.
