Valley Forge Military Academy (VFMA) is a private, independent, college preparatory school offering grades 6 through 12 with day and boarding options. Established in 1928, VFMA has a long tradition of fostering personal growth through a unique, comprehensive system built on Five Cornerstones: Academic Excellence, Character Development, Personal Motivation, Physical Development, and Leadership.

VFMA successfully and enthusiastically utilizes a military model approach to education that stresses structure, teamwork, character, integrity, and discipline, developing the cadet as a whole person. This approach serves as a balanced and effective method to challenge cadets in a safe and secure learning environment. It teaches cadets to be accountable for their actions, respect others, manage their time, prioritize appropriately, think critically, and develop those key life skills; most essential for our cadets, our communities and our country.

In addition, VFMA provides a strong academic atmosphere and challenging curriculum, along with ample leadership and character development opportunities. Our dedicated faculty and small class sizes provide cadets with intense individualized learning experiences that prepare them well for college.  While attending, high school students are able to obtain college credit while studying. Offering a challenging private school curriculum, its dedicated teachers insist on small class sizes to allow individualized, personal attention.
