Campus features

The Northwood campus includes dormitories, academic buildings, an arts center, a theater, a fitness center that includes indoor tennis courts, and playing fields. Additionally, Northwood students have full use and access to the Olympic Training facilities which include state-of-the-art fitness facilities, hockey rinks and Nordic and downhill ski facilities. A new state-of-the art academic building is being constructed on Main Street in downtown Lake Placid and scheduled for completion in 2017. The building will have Maker Spaces, space and support for entrepreneurship projects, performing and visual arts productions, performance spaces and equipment for a wide range of disciplines including STEM projects. The Northwood on Main structure is unmatched by any current boarding school.
