Marking System:

FCDS utilizes the standard grading system: A=90-100; B=80-89; C=70-79; D=60-69; F=0-59. FCDS has a two semester academic calendar. Two quarter grades (40% each) and a comprehensive 2 hour exam (20%) comprise each semester's final grade.

Graduation Requirements:

The minimum graduation requirements for grades 9 through 12 are as follows:

  • English - 4 credits
  • Foreign Language - 3 credits
  • History - 3 credits (including one unit of US and Modern World History)
  • Mathematics - 4 credits
  • Lab Science - 3 credits (1 unit each of Biology, Chemistry and Physics)
  • Art & Music - 1/2 credit each
  • Physical Education - 2 credits
  • Electives - 1 credit, minimum
