    Marking System

    Students are graded on a 10 point scale.  Throughout their time at MSA students are assigned a faculty advisor.  A full time college placement coordinator is also available to assist in the application process and standardized testing tutoring.

    Minimum graduation requirements for grades 9 through 12 are as follows:

    English - 4 credits
    History - 3 credits
      (U.S. History & Government)
    Mathematics - 3 credits
      (Geometry & Algebra II)
    Science - 3 credits
      (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
    Foreign Language - 3 credits
    Fine Arts - 2 credits
    Physical Education - 2 credits
    Electives - 3 credits 

    Physical Education credits are earned through mandatory athletics

    SAT/ACT Scores:  Average SAT Score = 1650; Average ACT score = 27
