    Marking System

    The 4.0 Grading system is used for all standard academic courses.  Advanced Placement courses use a 5.0 scale.  Students meet with their advisors once a week or as necessary.

    To graduate, students must successfully complete a minimum of 21.5 units of credit including:

    English - 4 credits
    Social Studies - 3 credits
    Mathematics - 3 credits
    Science - 3 credits
    Fine Arts - 1 credit
    Health & Physical Education - 1 credit
    Practical Arts - 1 credit
    Electives - 8 credits

    World Languages offered: Chinese, Spanish, on-line Arabic Language

    Cadets are required to earn 20 hours of community service each academic year.

    ESL Program: Students are placed in an academically rigorous ESL program based on their incoming testing.  Classes are kept small to enhance the learning experience and a student's progress is very closely monitored.  ESL summer study also is available and may be required depending upon the student's incoming proficiency level.
